Job Title: Radiology / CT Technician
(Also known as: CT Scan Technician / X-Ray Technician)

Department: Radiology
Location: Vedansh Superspeciality Hospital & Heart Centre
Reporting To: Consultant Radiologist

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate X-ray and CT Scan machines as per hospital protocols.
- Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging procedures.
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Follow strict radiation protection and safety guidelines.
- Assist the Radiologist during contrast and special imaging procedures.
- Monitor patients during CT contrast studies and report any reactions immediately.
- Maintain imaging records and update reports in the system.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of radiology equipment.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments for smooth workflow.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Qualification & Experience:




- Diploma / Degree in Radiology or Medical Imaging Technology.
- Valid registration with State Medical Faculty / Council (if applicable).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in X-ray and CT preferred.
- Freshers with strong practical CT training may also be considered.

Required Skills:
- Valuable technical knowledge of X-ray and CT imaging.
- Understanding of radiation safety standards.
- Ability to handle contrast procedures carefully.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Working Hours:
Rotational shifts as per hospital policy, including emergency duty if required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
