Anand Engineering is seeking a skilled CNC Setter to set up and optimize CNC machines for machining aluminium and zinc pressure die-cast components. The role requires robust knowledge of tooling, fixtures, offsets, and machining parameters to ensure high-precision production with mínimal rejection and downtime.

Key Responsibilities Set up CNC machines (VMC / Turning Centers) for die-cast aluminium and zinc components. Load, edit, and verify CNC programs as per component drawings. Install and align fixtures, soft jaws, and cutting tools. Set tool offsets, work offsets, and zero references accurately. Conduct first-off inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy. Adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets for optimum cycle time and tool life. Troubleshoot machining defects such as chatter, tool wear, or dimension variation. Coordinate with QC for inspection and approval. Maintain machine cleanliness, coolant levels, and lubrication checks. Follow production targets, quality standards, and safety procedures.
