Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures for sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Conduct inspections at various stages of production to ensure compliance with drawings, tolerances, and quality standards.
- Maintain and update quality documentation such as inspection reports, checklists, and corrective action records.
- Identify and investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective/preventive actions.
- Train and guide production teams on quality standards and best practices.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and purchase departments.
- Ensure adherence to ISO/TS standards and assist in audits (internal/external).
- Handle customer complaints related to quality and ensure timely resolution.





Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a sheet metal manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal processes like laser cutting, bending, welding, powder coating, etc.
- Familiarity with tools like Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and other quality tools.
- Hands-on experience with 7 QC tools and lean manufacturing principles.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
