About the Company
BookLeaf Publishing is a self-publishing platform featured on Shark Tank India Season 4. We print and ship over 1,200 books every month from our in-house production facility in Delhi, running a Konica Minolta print setup along with an expanding binding and finishing line.

Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced operator to handle both our perfect binding machine and paper cutting machine. This is a hands-on production role responsible for turning printed book blocks into finished, trimmed paperbacks ready for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate the programmable paper cutter / guillotine for trimming bound books and loose sheets to specification
- Read and interpret job cards; match trim size, page count, GSM, and cover dimensions to each order




- Run first-piece checks and catch defects (skewed spines, glue bleed, loose pages, off-size trims) before books move to dispatch
- Maintain daily records of output, wastage, and machine downtime
- Handle routine cleaning, blade changes, glue refills, and basic preventive maintenance
- Escalate breakdowns and part replacements to the supervisor in time
- Required
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience on perfect binding machines (Welbound, Namibind, Electro Mec, or similar) and programmable paper cutters
- Ability to read measuring tape, GSM chart, and job cards accurately
- Comfortable standing for full shifts and lifting paper reams and book stacks
- Punctual and reliable with shift timings

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
