- Be primarily responsible for an productive and effective education of the students in his/her charge as per the stipulations, methodology and framework of the curriculum (which is based on SCHOLASTIC PRIME METHODOLOGY) adopted by the school.
- Make timely Unit and Lesson plans for review and approval before implementation in class.
- Attend the school punctually and be present in the School during the prescribed School hours, and devote his/her whole attention to teaching or class work.
- Take the roll call regularly and maintain a record of the attendance of students.
- Make all possible efforts to maintain and improve the attendance in the school.
- Be responsible for keeping accurately and neatly the necessary registers and other records and documents as may be required by the school and to ensure the timely submission of various reports and documents internally as required by the Head.
- Assist the Head, as required,



in the general organization of the school activities, student assessment, and in arranging co-curricular activities.
- Be responsible for inculcating in students the habits of cleanliness, neatness and orderly behavior.
- Promote harmony and goodwill among students and to ensure that they are not discriminated on the grounds of financial background or social status.
- Preparing his/her teaching work and maintaining records thereof, as appropriate.
- Keep pace with the actual plan of work drawn and record the reasons for the shortfalls, if any, and undertake timely measures to make up the shortfalls and deficiencies, if any, in consultation with the Head.
- Performance of such other duties and conforming to such other Instructions relating to education as maybe required or be issued to him/her by the Head.
