JOB DESCRIPTION - RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR
Location: Lakeview Restaurant Kumbalangi
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹25,000 per month (Fixed) + Food & Accomodation + Performance Incentives

We are looking for a mature, firm, and hands-on Restaurant Supervisor who can take full ownership of daily restaurant operations and maintain strict quality and discipline standards.

This is not a desk job. We need someone who leads from the floor.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Opening Responsibilities
- Assist in finalising menu, pricing, and portion control
- Help recruit kitchen and service staff
- Set SOPs for service, hygiene, billing, and inventory
- Coordinate with owner for launch planning and soft opening

Key Responsibilities

1. Kitchen & Food Quality Control
- Daily coordination with the Chef and kitchen team:
- Tasting food regularly to ensure taste, consistency, portion control, and presentation
- Ensuring food is served as per standard recipes and management instructions
- Immediate correction and reporting of quality issues

2. Staff Monitoring & Discipline




- Monitoring kitchen staff, service staff, and helpers
- Ensuring punctuality, hygiene, uniform, and qualified behaviour
- Assigning duties and ensuring work is completed properly
- Handling minor staff issues firmly and escalating serious matters to management
- Making sure staff follow SOPs strictly

3. Purchasing & Stock Control
- Coordinating daily and weekly purchasing requirements:
- Monitoring raw material usage and avoiding wastage
- Maintaining stock registers (vegetables, meat, groceries, beverages, cleaning items)
- Verifying purchase quality, quantity, and pricing
- Coordinating with accounts for bills and approvals

4. Accounts & Reporting Coordination
- Coordinating with the accounts team for:
- Purchase bills
- Daily sales figures
- Expense tracking
- Ensuring daily sales and expense details are properly reported
- Supporting management with operational data when required
