? About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Head of Internal Audit to lead the internal audit function and strengthen our organization’s risk management, internal controls, regulatory compliance, governance, and fraud prevention framework.
? Key Responsibilities
• Lead risk-based internal audits across Credit, Underwriting, Treasury, Risk, Branch Operations, Collections, IT/IS, HR, Legal and Compliance.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive annual Internal Audit Plan aligned with business and regulatory risks.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, processes, governance and risk management systems.
• Ensure adherence to RBI regulations, KYC/AML requirements, Companies Act and applicable financial regulations.
• Lead fraud risk management, forensic reviews,



surprise branch audits, cash/vault audits and fraud investigations.
• Identify control gaps, process weaknesses and emerging risks, and recommend practical corrective actions.
• Monitor audit observations, action plans and closure of critical findings within defined timelines.
• Prepare and present clear, independent and actionable audit reports to the Audit Committee and senior management.
• Build, mentor and manage a high-performing internal audit team.

✔ Solid experience in Internal Audit / Risk / Compliance within NBFC or Financial Services
✔ In-depth understanding of RBI regulations, KYC/AML, lending operations and financial controls
