Role Description This is a full time, on-site Commis 1, 2 role based at THE THIRD PLACE @ KP in Pune City. The Commis team member will support daily kitchen operations, including mise en place, food preparation, and cooking under the guidance of senior chefs. Responsibilities include following standardized recipes, maintaining portion and presentation standards, and ensuring high levels of hygiene and safety at all times. The role involves cleaning and organizing workstations, assisting in receiving and storing supplies,



and coordinating with the kitchen and service teams to deliver timely and consistent dishes. The Commis 1, 2 will also be expected to learn and develop culinary skills, follow kitchen procedures, and support smooth service during peak hours.
Qualifications
Strong food preparation and cooking abilities with core culinary skills relevant to a professional kitchen.
Commitment to hygiene, food safety practices, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with chefs, kitchen staff, and service teams.
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, ingredient handling, and standard recipes.
Prior experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is an advantage, especially in Commis roles.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings, as required by operations.
