Job Description

About Role:

Swiggy is seeking a SM- Legal, who will lead on private equity / M&A; transactions, and compliance matters for Swiggy and its subsidiaries.





The candidate must have substantial PE/M&A; and investments background and be able to manage large and complex transactions within short timelines, as well as research and advise on transactional and general corporate matters and work effectively with outside counsel. The candidate will also lead the compliance function, including providing strategic advice on compliance requirements based on day to day business operations.

Key Responsibilities:-

PE/M&A;, investments and corporate:

Lead Swiggy’s’ PE/M&A;, investment and other corporate development activities from legal perspective.
Structuring and evaluating new/proposed transactions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders;
Review, draft and negotiate transaction documentation including term sheets, definitive agreements and closing documentation.
Advise business and commercial teams on commercial arrangements/business models by highlighting potential legal issues,
