Type: Internship, 3 to 6 months. Full-time role based on performance.
Stipend: ₹12,000 to ₹15,000 a month
Reports to: Sales team

ABOUT BAROMETER

We make inventory, recipe costing and variance software for the food and beverage business in India. Our clients are restaurants, bars, cafés, cloud kitchens and multi-outlet groups. Alongside the software we do the unglamorous work too: stock audits, monthly cost reports, consulting. The people who actually use our product are chefs, bar managers and restaurant owners, so most of what we post is about food, drink, and the money behind both. It is a good beat to be on if that world interests you.

THE SHORT VERSION OF THE JOB

You run our social media day to day. You plan the calendar, make the creatives, post on time, and keep track of what worked. You will not be handed a blank page and asked to invent a strategy. We will tell you what we want and coach you on how to get there. The execution and the follow-through are yours.





WHAT THE WORK LOOKS LIKE

Running the accounts
• Own the posting calendar for Instagram, LinkedIn and wherever else we are active. Plan it a week ahead and keep it full.
• Schedule and publish the posts, reels, stories and carousels. If something is stuck waiting for an approval, it is on you to go chase that approval rather than let the slot pass.
• Answer comments and DMs. Anything that smells like a real sales enquiry goes to the sales team the same day.
• Keep a straightforward sheet of what went out, when, and how it did. Nothing fancy, just current.

Making the creatives
• Build posts in Canva or whatever you are quick in, working off our templates and brand guidelines. Static posts, carousels, light reels edits.
• Write captions and hooks in plain English. Our readers are restaurant owners and F&B; managers, not marketers, so the writing has to be simple.
