About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Manager – Regulatory & Compliance to lead regulatory approvals, statutory compliance and government liaisoning for our Solar EPC, Solar IPP and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
The role will be responsible for end-to-end coordination with DISCOMs, SLDC/RLDC, transmission utilities, State/Central Nodal Agencies and regulators (RERC/CERC) to ensure timely clearances and smooth project execution across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Manage regulatory approvals for Solar and BESS projects including connectivity, open access, banking, wheeling, metering and evacuation.
Coordinate with DISCOMs, SLDC/RLDC, transmission utilities and regulatory authorities for project-related approvals and compliance.
Ensure compliance with Electricity Act, CERC/SERC regulations,



Grid Code, Open Access regulations and renewable energy policies.
Maintain regulatory trackers for approvals, renewals, filings, reporting and statutory obligations.
Monitor regulatory notifications and policy developments; assess impact on Solar IPP, EPC and BESS projects.
Prepare and coordinate regulatory applications, petitions, representations, correspondence and statutory documentation.
Support Business Development, Commercial, Finance, Legal and Project teams on regulatory aspects of PPAs, PSAs, open access arrangements and project contracts.
Identify regulatory risks and recommend mitigation measures; support internal audits and due diligence.
Work closely with Project, Engineering, O&M; and Commercial teams to incorporate regulatory dependencies into project schedules and execution plans.
