Senior CloudOps Engineer

Location: Trivandrum, Kerala
Experience: 6+ Years
Work Mode: Hybrid – WFO after conversion
Budget: Up to ₹1.5 Lakhs/Month

We are looking for a Senior CloudOps Engineer to join a newly established Cloud Operations team and drive Azure reliability, governance, security, and cost optimization across production and non-production environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own Azure platform reliability, uptime, and operational readiness
• Lead incident management, RCA, and remediation
• Implement Azure governance using Azure Policy, RBAC, PIM, tagging, and compliance standards
• Drive FinOps – rightsizing, reservations, savings plans, and cost accountability
• Operate and scale AKS/Kubernetes with focus on performance and cost
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and structured change management
• Identify and resolve security, access, and configuration drift




• Collaborate with Platform Engineering and Application teams

Must Have:
✅ 6+ years Azure – subscriptions, networking, identity & RBAC
✅ Azure Policy, PIM, governance & security
✅ Robust Cloud Operations / Incident Management / RCA experience
✅ FinOps & Azure cost optimization
✅ Hands-on AKS/Kubernetes Operations
✅ PowerShell / Azure CLI / Python
✅ Azure Monitor, Log Analytics / Datadog
✅ Defender for Cloud & compliance knowledge
✅ General knowledge of Terraform / Bicep / ARM
✅ Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, service connections & permissions

Certifications
AZ-104 / AZ-305 / AZ-140 / AZ-900 or equivalent knowledge
ITIL 4 is a plus.
