About the Role
Backdropsource is looking for a Senior Shopify Developer with strong hands-on experience in building, customizing, and optimizing contemporary Shopify stores. The ideal candidate combines Shopify development, pixel-perfect UI/UX implementation, technical SEO, performance optimization, international store management, and Agentic SEO knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, maintain, and optimize Shopify 2.0 themes and storefronts
- Convert Figma designs and mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive Shopify pages across desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Build modern, conversion-focused UI/UX while maintaining performance and scalability
- Work with Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6, AJAX, JSON, Metafields, Storefront API, and Shopify APIs
- Customize themes, sections, templates, product pages, collections, carts, and other storefront components
- Integrate and troubleshoot Shopify Apps, third-party APIs, payment systems, marketing tools,



and analytics platforms
- Perform technical SEO audits and resolve crawlability, indexing, canonical, redirect, and other site issues
- Implement and validate structured data / Schema markup for products, breadcrumbs, organizations, and other relevant entities
- Improve page speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall storefront performance
- Manage and optimize multiple-country / international Shopify stores, including localization and Shopify Markets
- Debug, test, and maintain stores across browsers and devices
- Collaborate with design, SEO, marketing, and ecommerce teams to improve conversion, user experience, and organic visibility

Agentic SEO & AI Search
Candidates should understand Agentic SEO / Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and how Shopify stores can be structured for better visibility across platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and other LLM-powered discovery channels. Knowledge of semant
