The Paint Manager will oversee scheduling, budget management, quality assurance, and safety compliance, working closely with production and project teams to deliver quality finishes that meet client and industry standards.
Role and Responsibilities
· Supervise and train the painting team on best practices and safety.
· Coordinate painting schedules across manufacturing and project sites to meet deadlines.
· Inspect quality, thickness, and adhesion of coatings to ensure compliance.
· Manage inventory and budget for paint materials and supplies.
· Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to OSHA safety standards.

In Detailed Responsibilities
· Plan, coordinate, and control painting and coating activities across manufacturing and project sites.
· Ensure that painting schedules align with project timelines and quality requirements.
· Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs)



for surface preparation, coating applications, and finishing.
· Collaborate closely with project managers and site teams to integrate painting schedules with other project phases.
· Ensure painting and coating operations align with overall project milestones and site conditions.
· Adapt and troubleshoot painting processes as needed for on-site constraints.
· Oversee the maintenance of painting equipment, including spray systems, mixers, and surface prep tools.
· Schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Preferred Skills
· Solid understanding of industrial painting methods, coating types, and quality standards (e.g., SSPC, ISO).
