About The Role
We are looking for a agile and result-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to join our sales team.
The candidate will be based in Kolkata and work primarily on the road, reporting directly to the Director – Business Development. Our corporate office is in Gurugram, while this role will focus on developing the Kolkata and wider North-East India market.





The candidate will be responsible for generating business for our Pobitora & Guwahati, Assam portfolio, with a strong focus on Luxury Wholesale, Travel Trade and MICE.

Key Responsibilities
Drive room nights and revenue for Pobitora & Guwahati from the Kolkata market.
Develop business through luxury wholesalers, luxury travel advisors, DMCs, MICE agencies, premium travel agencies and corporate travel partners.
Build and leverage strong relationships within the Kolkata travel-trade ecosystem.
Develop business from Kolkata into North East India, positioning Pobitora and Guwahati as premium leisure and MICE destinations.
Identify and convert new business-producing accounts while growing existing relationships.
Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, market visits, sales blitzes, roadshows and trade networking.
Handle enquiries, quotations, negotiations and follow-ups through to conversion.
