About The Role

The GA GECC Lead Protection and Control (CCS) Engineer plays a pivotal role in executing engineering activities related to Conventional Control Systems for high-voltage substations. This position involves overseeing the design, development, and implementation of protection and control panels for EHV/HV substations, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and schedule parameters. The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, liaise with clients and suppliers,



and ensure that all project deliverables meet technical specifications and standards. This role requires a highly skilled qualified with extensive experience in substation automation, digital communication protocols, and protection relay systems. The engineer will be responsible for technical calculations, design validation, and supporting manufacturing and commissioning activities to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline from a reputed university. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in HV/EHV substation design and engineering is essential. Knowledge of GE and competitor products, substation automation systems, and digital communication protocols such as IEC61850, PRP, RSTP, and serial communication is required.
