Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Head Taxation role based in Ahmedabad. The Head Taxation will lead the organization’s tax strategy, compliance, and governance across direct and indirect taxes,



ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing tax planning, reviewing tax computations and returns, managing tax audits and assessments, and monitoring changes in tax legislation relevant to the energy sector. The role will coordinate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and tax authorities to minimize tax risks and optimize tax efficiencies while maintaining robust controls and documentation. The Head Taxation will also support business transactions, investments, and projects with tax advisory inputs, and mentor a taxation team to build strong analytical and compliance capabilities.
Qualifications
Robust expertise in direct taxation, including corporate income tax, tax planning, and handling tax assessments and audits.
Proficiency in indirect taxation such as GST, customs, and other applicable indirect tax laws, with experience in filings and reconciliations.
