Role Description The Agency Manager will be responsible for developing and managing a network of insurance agents to drive business growth in the Dehradun region. This full-time, on-site role includes recruiting, training, and mentoring agents, monitoring their performance, and supporting them in achieving sales targets. The Agency Manager will plan and execute sales strategies,



ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, and promote the company’s products across retail and commercial lines. Daily activities include field visits, relationship management with agents and customers, reviewing sales reports, and coordinating with internal teams for underwriting, claims, and service support. The role requires proactive market development, local competitor analysis, and consistent focus on customer satisfaction and portfolio quality.
Qualifications
Experience in insurance sales, agency management, or channel development, preferably in general insurance.
Robust skills in business development, target achievement, and market expansion within a designated territory.
Ability to mentor and motivate agents, with skills in team leadership, performance management, and coaching.
