We are hiring an Equity Dealer for our broking desk in Ahmedabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute cash and derivatives orders on NSE/BSE terminals accurately and within the market window
• Punch orders with zero-error discipline on scrip code, quantity, price and order type
• Monitor client exposure, margin utilisation, MTM positions and peak margin obligations through the session
• Escalate margin shortfalls and square-off triggers before they become breaches
• Complete end-of-day trade confirmations and reconcile the day’s book
• Coordinate pay-in/pay-out, short delivery and auction cases with the operations desk
• Keep clients proactively updated on fills, partial executions and rejections; resolve trade queries within TAT
• Work with the research and advisory teams so execution reflects the stated strategy and client mandate




• Stay current on pre-market cues, corporate actions, F&O; expiry and ban-period lists, and surveillance lists
• Operate strictly within SEBI and exchange norms, the firm’s PIT code, and internal SOPs

Requirements

• Graduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline
• NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) certification — mandatory, or clearable within 60 days of joining
• 1–5 years of hands-on experience executing trades on a live NSE/BSE terminal
• Robust numerical and analytical ability; working proficiency in MS Excel
• Accuracy under pressure and uncompromising ethical standards
• Effective communication in English, Hindi and Gujarati

Preferred

• NISM Series VII (SORM), Series I (Currency) or Series XV (Research Analyst)
• Prior experience on a full-service broking, wealth advisory or HNI/PCG dealing desk
