Position Title: Asst Manager – Mechanical Design & Validation

Role Summary:
The Deputy Manager – Mechanical Design & Validation will be responsible for leading mechanical design activities, validating engineering drawings and components, and ensuring accurate layout preparation. The role involves coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure design quality, compliance, and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical Drawing Creation & Validation

Lead the creation, review, and validation of mechanical drawings.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and company guidelines.
Approve and validate detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing and execution.

CAD Design (AutoCAD)

Develop and review 2D/3D designs using AutoCAD or similar tools.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation of all design files.
Guide team members in design best practices and tool usage.





Mechanical Part Validation

Validate mechanical components, assemblies, and systems against technical requirements.
Conduct fitment, tolerance, and functionality checks.
Collaborate with quality, production, and project teams for validation processes.

Layout Preparation

Prepare and review plant/equipment layouts and mechanical arrangements.
Optimize layouts for space utilization, safety, and operational efficiency.
Support project planning, installation, and commissioning activities.

Team Management & Coordination

Lead and mentor team members, ensuring timely completion of design tasks.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (projects, QA/QC, procurement).
Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Solid expertise in mechanical design and drawing standards
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD (mandatory)
