Job Title: Primary Teacher (PRT) - Science

Job Summary:
The PRT Science Teacher is responsible for introducing fundamental science concepts to primary school students in an engaging and interactive manner. The role focuses on developing curiosity, observation skills, and a basic understanding of the natural world while creating a positive and child-friendly learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate Science lessons as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Use activity-based and experiential learning methods to make lessons engaging.
- Conduct simple experiments and demonstrations to enhance conceptual understanding.
- Develop worksheets, teaching aids, and interactive learning materials.
- Assess students through classwork, assignments, projects, and observations.
- Encourage curiosity, questioning, and scientific thinking among students.
- Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, inclusive classroom setting.
- Support slow learners and provide enrichment activities for advanced students.




- Integrate technology and visual aids into teaching wherever possible.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development.
- Participate in school events, training programs, and co-curricular activities.
- Take up additional responsibilities assigned by the school management.

Qualifications & Experience:Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B.Sc.)
- B.Ed. / D.Ed. / TTC (as applicable and preferred)

Experience:
- Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience in primary classes preferred
- Strong understanding of basic science concepts
- Ability to explain concepts in a simple and engaging manner
- Child-friendly and patient approach
- Creativity in teaching and activity planning
- Classroom management skills
- Good communicat
