Job Title: Raw Material Store In-charge

Job Summary

The Raw Material Store In-charge is responsible for the end-to-end management of material receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory documentation. This role ensures seamless coordination between procurement and production while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and inventory integrity through ERP systems and physical verification.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Receipt & Inspection:
- Receive raw materials from suppliers and verify inward against Purchase Orders (PO), invoices, and challans.
- Ensure quality and quantity compliance before generating Goods Received Notes (GRN).
- Storage & Warehouse Management:
- Organize materials in designated locations, adhering to specific safety, temperature, and humidity requirements.
- Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) protocols to minimize wastage and optimize storage conditions.
- Maintain clean, orderly storage areas in compliance with Good Storage Practice GSP(Good Storage Practice)/ISO standards and safety regulations.
- Inventory Control & Accuracy:




- Maintain exact inventory records using ERP systems and manual registers.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification, cycle counts, and reconciliation to bridge gaps between ERP data and physical stock.
- Monitor and report on slow-moving, non-moving-excess stock, or expired inventory.
- Coordination & Workflow:
- Collaborate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and Accounts departments to ensure timely procurement and inventory accuracy.
- Manage work allocation and supervise the material handling team effectively to ensure an uninterrupted workflow.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure the timely supply of raw materials to various units.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Operational Efficiency: Planning and maintaining raw material stock levels to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
- Supply Timeliness: Ensuring production units receive materials exactly when needed to avoid downtime.
