Role: Preclinical Animal Research Wet Lab Associate

1. About the Role

This position is within a regulated preclinical Contract Research Organization (CRO) operating a Zebrafish research facility aligned with institutional and accreditation standards. The role integrates hands-on scientific support with structured Zebrafish facility operations.

This is an execution-focused position requiring discipline, attendance reliability, documentation accuracy, and commitment to continuity of care.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Zebrafish Research & Study Support
- Assist in execution of preclinical study protocols.
- Perform scheduled observations, monitoring, and data recording.
- Support sample collection and experimental procedures as trained.
- Maintain study-related documentation as per SOP requirements.

B. Zebrafish Facility Operations
- Participate in routine Zebrafish husbandry activities, including:
- Feeding
- Tank maintenance
- Washout procedures
- Mortality checks
- Health monitoring
- Ensure Zebrafish welfare standards are maintained at all times.




- Follow rotational duty schedules, including weekends or public holidays as required.

C. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate, real-time entries in log sheets, trackers, and study records.
- Adhere strictly to SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure proper handover of responsibilities during absence.
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews.

3. Work Environment Expectations
- Structured, SOP-driven operational workplace.
- Timeline-based project execution.
- Cross-departmental coordination.
- Continuity-sensitive role where responsibilities cannot be paused.
- Requires physical presence and hands-on biological handling.
- Compliance to internal and external audits
- This is not an academic research training role.

4. Qualification Requirements

Preferred:
- M.Sc. Zoology / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Life Sciences
- B.Sc. in relevant biological sciences with strong
