Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach computer fundamentals to students of Classes I-V, engagingly and practically.
- Introduce students to basic concepts such as computer parts, MS Office tools, internet usage, and digital safety.
- Use smart classroom tools, activity-based learning, and visual aids to enhance understanding.
- Foster creativity and logical thinking through basic coding activities (Scratch or similar platforms).
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments in alignment with CBSE curriculum guidelines.
- Maintain accurate student records, report cards, and academic documentation.
- Ensure discipline and proper usage of computer lab resources.
- Actively participate in school events, workshops, training sessions, and co-curricular activities.
- Ensure upkeep and basic maintenance coordination of computer lab equipment.
Eligibility Criteria (As per CBSE Norms):
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT / Computer Applications (BCA)
OR
- Graduation in any discipline with a recognized Diploma/Certificate in Computer Applications
- Professional Qualification:
- D.El.Ed. / B.El.Ed.
OR
- B.Ed. (preferred)
- Mandatory Requirement:
- CTET qualified (Paper I - Primary Level)
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong command over MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer operations
- Basic knowledge of coding tools like Scratch will be an added advantage
