Sales Staff - Premium Foods (Dates, Nuts, Dry Fruits & Imported Chocolates)

Location: Daymart Hypermarket, Mananthavady

Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Sales Staff to manage the Premium Foods section (Dates, Nuts, Dry Fruits & Imported Chocolates) at Daymart Hypermarket. The role involves customer handling, product display, sales support, and basic inventory coordination to ensure product availability, quality, and an excellent shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Customer Service
- Assist customers in selecting products and provide product knowledge
- Promote premium items and achieve sales targets
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

2. Stock Management Support
- Monitor daily stock levels and inform the Store In-charge about shortages
- Ensure timely shelf replenishment to avoid stock-outs
- Assist in stock counting and inventory checks

3. Product Display & Merchandising
- Maintain attractive and organized product displays
- Ensure proper labelling, pricing, and shelf arrangement




- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) for stock rotation

4. Quality & Freshness Check
- Regularly check product quality, freshness, and expiry dates
- Remove damaged or expired items from display
- Maintain hygiene standards in the section

5. Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with store in-charge and inventory team
- Assist in receiving and checking incoming stock
- Support billing and packing when required

Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in retail / supermarket sales
- Experience in dry fruits, nuts, dates, or premium food section preferred:
- Good communication and customer handling skills
- Basic understanding of stock handling
