As the Counselling and Training Officer will be supporting Kalanjiyam in all its projects and activities and in coordination with Kalanjiyam field Office in Chengalpattu district and Chennai based staff will be responsible for:
- Facilitation and coordination of various programs and activities under guidance of Director, from planning, to execution to reporting.
- Conduct trainings, awareness and life skills classes for Kalanjiyam team, at Thalir academy and schools supported by Kalanjiyam, including development of content and materials for the sessions
- Provide Counselling services including:
- Counselling on career options and planning for the future of youth;
- One to one guidance through individual one-to-one and/ or group counselling to students, trainees and community members
- Referring students to other support services and mental health professionals as needed.
- Train peer mentors and facilitate peer mentoring programs with support of Kalanjiyam staff




- Maintain documentation of all one to one Counselling & Group counselling, prepare reports and cases studies and track and assess the changes and progress made
- Planning and assisting in various assessments and surveys for projects and organizational level
- Conduct special programs for staff, students and community as per the requirements
- Responsible for all consolidate monthly reporting and ensure documentation of different project activities
- Supporting in monthly planning of activities, tracking the progress of activities and documenting the progress and supporting the reporting to donors
- Assist in office administration work and any other duties as deemed necessary

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
