Senior Accounts Payable & Bookkeeping Specialist – US Accounting Location: Remote (Work From Home) Experience: 4+ Years Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent Commerce/Accounting background Shift: 6:30 PM - 2:30 AM IST ✔ US Process: US Accounting / US Process Experience Required ️ Preferred: Prior Construction Accounting Experience About the Role- We are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable & Bookkeeping Specialist with robust hands-on experience in US accounting, bookkeeping, and AP operations . The ideal candidate should have experience managing accounting transactions, reconciliations, journal entries, month-end activities, and bookkeeping support across multiple entities. Prior experience in construction accounting will be highly preferred. Key Responsibilities- Perform Accounts Payable data entry and transaction processing . Record financial transactions accurately and ensure proper account classification . Perform bank reconciliations and identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies.



Provide support for financial reporting and preparation of accounting schedules and supporting documentation. Assist with month-end closing activities , including reconciliations, adjustments, and supporting schedules. Prepare and support journal entries , including intercompany transactions and complex accounting entries. Support accounting activities related to property/lot sales and development transactions . Perform end-to-end bookkeeping support across operating, holding, development, rental, and investment entities. Perform catch-up bookkeeping for designated entities and ensure accounting records are current and accurate. Review transactions and supporting documentation to identify missing information, discrepancies, unusual transactions, or accounting inconsistencies . Escalate accounting issues and discrepancies to the appropriate stakeholders for review and resolution. Maintain accurate and organized accounting records in accordance w
