What will you do

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies to verify the reliability, scalability, and performance of OpenShift Builds features and components.
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks and test suites for continuous integration and deployment, utilizing CI/CD tools like Tekton.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and DevOps, to identify quality goals and align testing efforts with product requirements.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve test failures, bugs, and performance issues, contributing to continuous improvement in product quality.
- Ensure thorough test coverage across all critical features by contributing to and expanding the suite of automated tests.
- Actively participate in code reviews, design discussions, and upstream contributions, maintaining alignment with open-source standards and best practices.

What will you bring

- 3+ years of experience in quality engineering,



with a focus on automated testing in cloud-native or distributed systems.
- Experience with Golang is preferred to build and maintain automated test suites, experience with scripting languages is mandatory
- Experience in testing tools and frameworks, particularly those for Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Tekton, Argo Workflows, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and a deep understanding of networking, security, and cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative and open-source mindset.
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills in English
- Practical knowledge of git and related source control management systems (exGitHub, GitLab).
- Experience contributing to open source projects and familiarity with open source software development processes is an advantage.
