The team provides an innovative web technology platform hosted in the cloud and ensures compliances and security features across our websites. You will be part of Amgen's Global Commercial Client Facing Web Technology Team.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support for the Adobe AEM platform, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, defect triage, and production support.
- Support the health, stability, and performance of AEM applications, Dispatcher, and related cloud environments.
- Govern AEM platform usage by helping define and maintain standards, best practices, development patterns, and reusable component frameworks.
- Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and content models to support business needs and platform consistency.
- Build proof-of-concepts and reusable technical solutions to validate approaches and accelerate future development.
- Integrate AEM with third-party systems, REST APIs, and Adobe Experience Cloud services through custom services and connectors.
- Support deployments and release activities through CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based delivery processes.
- Monitor application performance and recommend improvements in caching, indexing,
query optimization, and repository management.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and Agile ceremonies while balancing feature support, operational work, and sprint commitments.
- Continuously improve code quality, engineering standards, and support processes to strengthen platform reliability and maintainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5 to 9 years of Information Science experience
- Strong understanding of client-side web development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and up-to-date front-end frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Java, Sling Models, OSGi, JCR, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience supporting production applications and resolving operational issues within Adobe AEM.
- Experience with REST, JSON, XML, web services, and API integrations.
- Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Proficiency with SDLC, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of API management and integration platforms such as MuleSoft or similar API gateways is a plus.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and GenAI technologies such as ChatGPT is a plus.
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer certification or other relevant Adobe certifications is a plus.
