Key Responsibilities
- Use AI first model for delivery
- Analyze and remediate security vulnerabilities identified through vulnerability scanning tools such as Snyk, Veracode, Checkmarx, SonarQube, or equivalent.
- Perform root cause analysis and impact assessment of application security findings.
- Upgrade vulnerable .NET frameworks, NuGet packages, and third-party libraries.
- Develop and validate code fixes for Critical and High severity vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with application architects, technical leads, and security teams to implement remediation strategies.
- Participate in vulnerability triage, prioritization, sprint planning, and remediation tracking.
- Create and review Pull Requests while adhering to enterprise coding standards.
- Support application modernization efforts to address legacy technology risks.
- Document remediation plans, technical designs, testing evidence, and implementation details.
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure comprehensive validation and successful deployment.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) to improve remediation efficiency.
- Support security audits and compliance initiatives by providing remediation evidence and reports.
