Role & responsibilities

- Product/SKU-wise costing BOM, conversion cost, power cost per kg, machine-hour rates
- Inventory valuation (AVCO) monitoring and reconciliation with GL/Trial Balance; WIP, scrap and yield analysis
- Monthly material, labour and overhead variance analysis with root-cause commentary
- Cost MIS, contribution and margin analysis by product group, unit and branch
- Inter-unit / branch-to-branch transfer pricing and cost reconciliation
- Support budgeting, statutory/internal audit and month-end closing
- Experience working in ERP environment,

Preferred candidate profile

- CMA (ICMAI) qualified mandatory
- 13 years post qualification experience in a manufacturing setting.(PRODUCT COSTING)
- Standard costing, absorption costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation
- Advanced Excel; ERP experience preferred
- Product costing experience mandatory
- Only candidates with relevant post qualification cost accounting experience will be considered
- Preference will be given to candidates with hands on experience in cost accounting, cost analysis, product costing, budgeting, inventory valuation, manufacturing cost control
