Ortho Surgery Coder 1 to 4 Years | Chennai & Tirchy| Omega Healthcare

Job Description:

Omega Healthcare is hiring Ortho Surgery Coders with 1 to 4 years of relevant experience for our Chennai & Tirchylocation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and interpret Orthopedic surgical operative reports and medical documentation.
- Assign accurate CPT, ICD-10-CM and HCPCS codes based on documentation.
- Solid understanding of Orthopedic procedures, anatomy and medical terminology.
- Apply appropriate CPT modifiers and coding guidelines.
- Ensure coding accuracy, compliance, quality and productivity.
- Identify documentation gaps and follow appropriate clarification/query processes.
- Maintain adherence to client-specific guidelines and coding standards.





Candidate Profile:

- Experience: 14 years in Ortho Surgery / Surgery Coding
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM and HCPCS
- Good understanding of Orthopedic procedures and surgical documentation
- Knowledge of modifiers and coding guidelines
- CPC/CCS certification is an added advantage
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Willingness to work from Chennai & Tirchy
