- Design and analyze Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) using STAAD.Pro as per IS 800:2007 and AISC codes.
- Develop 3D structural models, apply dead, live, wind and other applicable loads, and define design parameters.
- Perform structural and agile analysis and verify structural stability and adequacy.
- Design PEB primary and secondary members, including cold-formed members using MBS and Excel-based calculations.
- Design gantry girders, laced/stepped columns, splice connections and base plates.
- Optimize structural members and framing systems for safety, material efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Review approval drawings, input drawings and design inputs and identify discrepancies before design execution.
- Check and validate design jobs, estimations and technical deliverables.
- Prepare/review quantity estimates for sheeting, cladding, purlins, girts, sag rods, flange braces, flashings, etc.
- Coordinate with senior engineers and relevant teams regarding technical requirements and design considerations.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable Indian and international structural design codes.
- Previously worked on 3D BIM modelling and drawing review using Revit and BIM 360.
