USI-CTS SAP VMS 8+ Yrs

We are looking for an experienced SAP IS-Automotive VMS Consultant with strong expertise in Vehicle Management System (VMS), automotive business processes, SAP logistics, and cross-module integration. The candidate will be responsible for VMS configuration, vehicle lifecycle management, OTC/P2P processes, inventory and dealer operations, and functional delivery of SAP enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

- VMS Architecture & Configuration
- Configure vehicle models, action matrices, vehicle statuses, status tracking, and configuration options in SAP IS-Automotive VMS.

- Manage end-to-end vehicle lifecycle processes from procurement through distribution, sales, delivery, and trade-in.

- OTC & P2P Integration

- Manage Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes within the automotive environment.

- Integrate VMS with SAP MM and SD for procurement, sales, vehicle ordering, pricing, billing, and delivery processes.

- Vehicle Inventory & Fleet Management

- Manage vehicle inventory, dealer allocations, vehicle distribution, wholesale transactions, and trade-ins.





- Support vehicle movements across yards, warehouses, plants, and dealerships.

- Ensure accurate vehicle status and inventory tracking throughout the lifecycle.

- Cross-Module Integration

- Drive integration with SAP FI/CO, PP, MM, SD, and EWM/WM.

- Analyze business requirements and ensure seamless integration across finance, production, logistics, and warehouse processes.

- Functional & Technical Delivery

- Gather requirements and translate business needs into functional solutions.

- Prepare detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for custom developments.

- Identify, document, and manage RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.

- Work closely with ABAP developers and technical teams to deliver enhancements and integrations.

- Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, deployment, and post-go-live activities.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP IS-Automotive / Vehicle Management System (VMS).

- Expertise in VMS configuration and vehicle lifecycle management.

- Strong understanding of SAP SD and MM processes.

- Good knowledge of OTC and P2P processes.

- Experience with vehicle inventory, dealer allocation, wholesale, trade-in, yard, and warehouse processes.

- Working knowledge of integration with FI/CO, PP, EWM/WM.

- Robust experience in functional specifications, RICEF objects, and ABAP coordination.

- Good understanding of automotive business processes and dealership/distribution operations.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Automotive.

- Automotive OEM / dealership / vehicle distribution experience.

- Experience with SAP integrations and third-party automotive systems.

- Exposure to SAP implementation, rollout, migration, or production support projects.
