- Manage overall activities related to heat for LF/VD operations and lead the group in a shift with safe working operations.
- Experience in EAF and VOD will be an added advantage.
- Must have good knowledge about clean steel making.
- Implement quality management system effectively in the workplace.
- Manage and control raw material and consumable inventory effectively.
- Drive cost reduction and continual improvement initiatives.
- Guide the team for root cause analysis for any process or product deviations.
- Use solid analytical to implement improvement initiatives.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP system.
Job Requirements :
- 4-10 years of experience in a similar role within the iron & steel industry.
- Strong understanding of SMS (Steel Melting Shop) operations and VDS (Vacuum Degassing System).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
