About the Role

BuildAmbit is looking for a Senior Manager, Placement & Career Services to lead our placement and career services function.

The core responsibility will be to build strong corporate relationships, generate relevant hiring opportunities, and help BuildAmbit learners and professionals achieve meaningful career outcomes .

The role will work closely with corporate partners, learners, Program teams, and leadership to build a strong bridge between industry demand and BuildAmbit's talent .

Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate & Hiring Partnerships

- Build and manage relationships with large, mid-sized, and emerging organisations across industries.
- Develop relationships with HR Heads, Talent Acquisition leaders, Hiring Managers, Business Heads, and Functional Leaders .
- Understand current and future hiring requirements and build a solid pipeline of opportunities.
- Position BuildAmbit as a preferred talent and hiring partner for organisations.
- Drive repeat and recurring hiring opportunities from corporate partners.
- Develop opportunities across placements, internships, projects, recruitment drives, and industry engagements .

Placement Management
- Own the placement lifecycle from requirement identification and candidate mapping to interviews, selection, offer, and joining .
- Work with internal teams to identify and recommend the right learners for relevant opportunities.
- Coordinate interviews, assessments, recruitment drives, and employer interactions.




- Track placement pipeline, interviews, selections, offers, and joining.
- Build employer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve candidate quality and placement outcomes.

Career Services
- Own the career services journey for BuildAmbit learners and professionals.
- Support learners with CV building, LinkedIn optimisation, interview preparation, mock interviews, portfolio development, and job search strategies .
- Conduct career workshops, counselling sessions, industry interactions, and employability initiatives.
- Help learners understand career pathways, market expectations, relevant roles, and skills.
- Work with Program and Learning teams to align learner preparation with actual industry requirements.

Reporting & Outcomes
- Track and improve key outcomes including placements, interviews, selections, joining, job transitions, and employer satisfaction .
- Build dashboards and reports to monitor placement and career services performance.
- Identify employability gaps and work with internal teams to address them.
- Develop scalable processes to improve placement and career outcomes.

What We're Looking For
- 5 to 8 years of experience in placements, career services, corporate partnerships, talent acquisition, recruitment, employer relations,



or related functions.
- Proven experience working with corporates and building employer relationships .
- Strong understanding of recruitment, placement, and career development processes.
- Experience in EdTech, higher education, skilling, recruitment, or talent businesses will be an advantage.
- Strong ability to engage with HR, Talent Acquisition, hiring managers, and senior corporate stakeholders .
- Excellent communication, relationship management, counselling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to build and scale a function.
- Any graduate degree. Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be an advantage.
