We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality, reliability, usability, and performance of our enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience testing enterprise systems, web applications, and mobile applications , along with solid expertise in test automation using Playwright .

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts .
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, end-to-end, usability, and non-functional testing .
- Test complex enterprise systems involving multiple applications, services, integrations, APIs, and databases.
- Perform testing across web and mobile applications and ensure consistent user experience across platforms.
- Build and maintain robust automated test suites using Playwright .
- Identify opportunities to increase test automation coverage and improve overall QA efficiency.
- Analyze requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business workflows to identify gaps and potential risks.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, and other QA engineers throughout the SDLC.
- Create, manage, and track defects using JIRA , including clear reproduction steps, expected/actual results, severity, and supporting evidence.
- Perform API testing and validate integrations between systems and services.
- Perform database validation and backend testing using SQL.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies , including sprint planning, refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, automation frameworks, and best practices.
- Investigate production issues and support root-cause analysis where required.





Skills

- 3+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing .
- In-depth experience working with and testing enterprise-level systems .
- Strong hands-on experience testing web applications and mobile applications .
- Strong experience with Playwright automation using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable and reliable UI automation frameworks .
- Robust understanding of functional and non-functional testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with usability testing, regression testing, integration testing, system testing, and end-to-end testing .
- Strong experience with JIRA and defect/test management workflows.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies .
- Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
- Strong SQL/database testing skills.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON, and web technologies .
- Experience with Git/version control systems .
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build/deployment workflows.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC , test strategies, defect life cycle, and QA best practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases and potential product risks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.





Nice to Have

- Experience testing microservices and distributed enterprise architectures .
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with performance/load testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or similar .
- Experience with mobile automation using Appium or similar frameworks.
- Experience validating event-driven systems, messaging, or third-party integrations .
- Knowledge of accessibility testing and standards such as WCAG .
- Experience working with test management tools and QA metrics/reporting.
- Programming/scripting experience beyond test automation.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field , or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on QA/testing experience in a professional software development environment.
- Demonstrated experience delivering quality assurance for enterprise applications .
- Proven hands-on experience with Playwright automation .
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
