About the Role

We are seeking a high-energy, target-driven, and strategic Zonal Business Manager (ZBM) to lead our Critical Care sales operations in Chennai. In this role, you will spearhead field execution, lead a team of frontline sales professionals, and build lasting partnerships with key intensivists, critical care specialists, hospitals, and clinical institutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Revenue & Sales Target Achievement: Deliver agreed value (rupee-wise) and unit/product-wise targets across the designated zone.
- Team Leadership & Performance: Guide, coach, and review field managers/executives to ensure maximum field productivity, motivation, and disciplined daily call planning.
- Customer & Institutional Coverage: Identify and segment high-potential accounts (ICUs, critical care units, leading consultants, hospitals, and pharmacies) to ensure 100% adherence to coverage frequency and call quality.
- KOL Relationship Management: Establish high-level engagement and strong scientific rapport with key opinion leaders (KOLs)



and decision-makers in critical care settings.
- Strategy Execution: Roll out brand promotion campaigns, scientific communication, and clinical differentiators effectively to drive sustained prescription generation.
- Supply Chain & Availability: Coordinate with hospital pharmacies, stockists, and distribution channels to guarantee uninterrupted product availability and prevent stockouts.
- Market Intelligence: Gather competitive feedback, monitor industry developments, and provide actionable market insights to upper management.
- Brand Governance: Uphold organizational integrity, ethical promotional practices, and continuous clinical product knowledge across the team.

Candidate Profile

- Proven sales and people management track record in the pharmaceutical industry (experience in Critical Care / Anesthesia / Injectables / Hospital Sales preferred).
- In-depth understanding of the Chennai hospital ecosystem and critical care network.
- Strong team leadership, communication, and commercial negotiation skills.
- Target-driven mindset with a focus on ethical business growth.
