About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep expertise in enterprise-level WordPress development, including extensive experience with WordPress Multisite architecture.

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex WordPress solutions tailored to meet diverse client needs. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and system administrators, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure WordPress platforms. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects, optimize existing environments, and implement innovative features that enhance user experience and system performance.

Qualifications

- 10–15 years of overall software/web development experience with deep WordPress expertise
- Strong enterprise-level WordPress development experience
- Hands-on experience with WordPress Multisite architecture and development




- Strong development experience with PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Strong experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
- Deep understanding of WordPress Hooks, Actions, Filters and Core APIs
- Experience with custom post types, taxonomies, REST APIs and integrations
- Experience handling large, complex WordPress environments with multiple sites
- Strong understanding of WordPress database architecture and query optimization
- Experience with performance optimization, caching and scalability
- Strong understanding of WordPress security, authentication and access control
- Experience integrating WordPress with third-party APIs and enterprise systems
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex production issues
- Experience with Git/version control and deployment processes

Responsibilities The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level WordPress solutions, including multisite networks. Responsibilities include creating custom themes and plugins from scratch, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability of the platforms. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, and work closely with project managers to meet project deadlines and specifications. You will also optimize existing WordPress environments for performance and security,



troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, and ensure seamless integration with third-party APIs and enterprise systems. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices documentation, and stay updated with the latest WordPress developments to incorporate innovative solutions. Mentoring junior developers and supporting deployment processes using Git/version control are also part of your responsibilities.
