Role Description As a Web Design Intern at Startup Story®, you will support the design and enhancement of the company’s digital platform and related web pages. On a day-to-day basis, you will assist in creating visually engaging layouts, designing user-friendly interfaces, and ensuring pages are responsive across devices.

You will collaborate with designers, developers, and content teams to translate stories and brand guidelines into effective web experiences. Typical tasks include updating website components, optimizing graphics, refining user flows,



and performing basic front-end edits under guidance. This is an internship role based in New Delhi with a hybrid work arrangement, combining in office collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Web Design and Responsive Web Design, with an understanding of modern layout principles and cross-device compatibility.
- Skills in User Interface Design, including creating intuitive page structures, clear navigation, and accessible visual elements.
- Ability to support Front-End Development tasks (e.g., basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) to implement and refine design concepts.
- Graphic Design abilities for preparing web-ready assets, icons, and visuals aligned with brand identity.
- Familiarity with design and prototyping tools (such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar) and basic image editing software.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Design, Computer Science, Multimedia, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to follow design guidelines while contributing creative ideas.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid environment and receive constructive feedback.
