Warehouse Operations Executive / In-ChargeJob Summary

Responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order processing, dispatch, documentation, and coordination with transport and customer service teams. The role requires strong operational discipline, accuracy, and timely execution of shipments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inward / Receiving Operations

- Receive shipments from factories, vendors, and transporters.
- Verify physical quantity, cartons, labels, and shipment documents.
- Conduct GRN/inward entries in the system.
- Report shortages, damages, excess quantity, or discrepancies immediately.
- Ensure proper unloading and segregation of incoming shipments.

2. Warehouse & Inventory Management

- Maintain proper storage and location-wise inventory.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable.
- Conduct daily stock checks and periodic physical inventory.
- Maintain accurate system vs. physical stock.
- Ensure proper stacking, palletization, and identification of material.
- Prevent damage, loss, misplacement, and unauthorized movement of stock.

3. Order Processing & Dispatch

- Prepare shipments for local, regional, and outstation delivery.
- Ensure proper picking, packing, labeling, and scanning.
- Coordinate with transporters for vehicle placement.
- Verify shipment count before vehicle loading.
- Prepare dispatch documentation and update shipment status.
- Ensure vehicles are loaded safely and within the planned timeline.

4. Last-Mile Coordination

- Coordinate with delivery teams and transport partners.
- Track pending and appointment-based deliveries.
- Monitor delivery exceptions and take corrective action.
- Ensure POD/status updates are received on time.
- Escalate delayed or failed deliveries to the concerned team.

5. System & Documentation

- Maintain accurate warehouse records and shipment data.
- Update WMS/ERP/TMS or Excel records regularly.
- Ensure all inbound and outbound transactions are closed in the system.
- Maintain dispatch sheets,



inward records, inventory reports, and POD records.
- Prepare daily MIS reports.

6. Team Management

- Allocate daily work to warehouse staff.
- Monitor productivity and attendance.
- Train team members on warehouse processes and safety.
- Ensure proper manpower utilization during peak volumes.
- Maintain discipline and operational standards.

7. Quality & Safety

- Follow warehouse SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S practices.
- Monitor packaging quality and prevent shipment damage.
- Ensure safe material handling and loading/unloading.
- Report operational risks, damages, and incidents immediately.

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate / Diploma preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, 3PL, FMCG, or distribution operations.
- Experience in WMS/ERP and Excel.
- Good knowledge of inventory and dispatch processes.
- Good communication and team-management skills.

Working Requirement The candidate should be comfortable working in a quick-paced logistics environment and managing daily shipment volumes, vehicle movements, manpower, and customer-specific operational requirements.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,530.73 per month
