Position Overview :

As QA Lead, you will own the quality strategy across Volo's claims administration, benefits, and healthcare payments platforms. You will build and lead a QA function that combines manual and automated testing, drive test coverage across web and API surfaces, and partner closely with engineering to catch issues before they reach production. You will report directly to the CTO.

Key Details :

- Experience : 3 - 8 years

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Relevant QA/testing certifications (ISTQB or similar) are a plus

Core Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with manual and automated testing of web applications and REST APIs
- Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman/Newman)
- Solid understanding of QA processes : test planning, test case design, regression, and release sign-off
- Ability to read and debug application code well enough to isolate root causes
- Experience defining and tracking quality metrics (defect density, coverage, escape rate)

Good to Have :

- Experience using AI-assisted tools to accelerate test case generation, exploratory testing, or defect triage




- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated test suites into them
- Performance and security testing experience

Preferred Domain Experience :

- Experience in health insurance, insurance technology, healthcare technology, fintech, or another regulated industry.
- Familiarity with claims processing, benefits administration, or healthcare payment workflows
