Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a key
role in delivering high-quality technical service and customer support for
sophisticated analytical instrumentation. You will support customers across
research, industrial, pharmaceutical, and healthcare environments by installing,
maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing LCMS and HPLC systems.

This role combines strong technical expertise with customer engagement and
provides an prospect to work with advanced analytical technologies while
contributing to scientific progress and customer success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair LCMS and HPLC
instruments at customer sites.
* Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, system diagnostics,
and performance verification in accordance with established service
procedures.
* Diagnose and resolve complex electronic, mechanical, vacuum, software, and
system-level issues.




* Support customers operating in regulated/compliance environments and
enterprise network environments.
* Troubleshoot and support Chromeleon or similar chromatography/data-system
software, including network-connected installations.
* Respond effectively to customer requirements, including urgent service needs,
and drive issues toward timely resolution.
* Provide technical guidance and training to customers and users on instrument
operation, routine maintenance, and best practices.
* Complete accurate and timely field service reports, service documentation,
and technical records.
* Identify recurring or outstanding product/system issues and provide
structured feedback to Product Quality, Technical Support, and relevant
internal teams.
* Maintain effective communication with customers throughout the service
lifecycle and contribute toward achieving customer satisfaction objectives.
