Role Description This is a full time, on-site role for a VMC & CNC Programmer and Setter located in Vapi. The role involves creating and optimizing CNC programs for VMC and CNC machines based on technical drawings, component specifications, and production requirements. The team member will set up machines, select tools, define machining parameters, and perform trial runs to ensure parts meet dimensional and surface finish standards.

Daily responsibilities include adjusting offsets, troubleshooting machining issues, coordinating with quality and production teams, and maintaining accurate documentation of programs and setups. The role also involves routine machine checks, adherence to safety standards,



and contributing to process improvements to reduce cycle time and improve productivity.

Qualifications

- Strong CNC Programming and Programming skills for VMC and CNC machines, including experience with relevant controllers (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, or similar).
- Hands-on Machining and Milling experience, including tool selection, parameter setting, and optimization for productivity and quality.
- Ability to read and interpret Technical Drawings, GD&T; symbols, and manufacturing specifications.
- Familiarity with CNC program verification, trial runs, and troubleshooting machining or quality issues.
- Experience as a machine setter, including setup changeovers, fixture alignment, and first-piece inspection.
- Minimum diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Production, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of basic quality control tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and dimensional inspection practices.
- Commitment to safety, housekeeping, and disciplined shop-floor practices; ability to work in shifts if required.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
- Experience in automotive or precision component manufacturing is an advantage.
