Role Overview

We’re looking for a Visual Designer with strong Illustrator skills who can translate brand strategy into distinct, well-crafted visual systems.

This role is central to:

- Elevating the quality of branding projects
- Reducing over-dependence on freelancers
- Supporting scalable growth in branding revenue
- Excellent time management - should be able to comfortably handle 5 clients at once across social media & branding projects

You’ll work closely with:

- The Brand Strategist
- The Founder
- The Social Media Designer (for consistency across platforms)

Key Responsibilities

Brand Identity & Visual Systems

- Design brand identities including:
- Logo concepts & refinements
- Colour palettes, typography systems
- Visual language & brand assets
- Translate strategy into cohesive, premium visual identities
- Create brand decks, presentations, and basic brand guidelines

Illustration & Conceptual Design

Use Adobe Illustrator confidently for:

- Sketching logo ideas and visual concepts
- Creating custom brand elements, icons, patterns, and motifs
- Bring originality and craft into brand visuals (not template-led work)

Motion & Logo Animation (Basic)

Create straightforward logo animations or brand motion elements such as:

- Logo reveals
- Text or symbol animations
- Work with tools like:



After Effects (basic to intermediate) or similar motion tools

Social Media Content Creation & Campaign Design

- Design high-quality social media creatives aligned with brand systems
- Support campaigns and launches with strong visual storytelling
- Maintain consistency across all brand touchpoints

Collaboration & Execution

- Interpret creative briefs accurately and ask thoughtful questions
- Work closely with strategists to enhance ideas visually
- Manage timelines and deliverables independently
- Receive and apply feedback without losing design integrity

Must-Haves

- 2–4 years of experience in brand / visual design
- Exceptional organisation & time-management skills
- Experience handling 5 clients at once across social media & branding projects
- Strong portfolio showcasing: Brand identity work, logo design, and visual systems
- Excellent command over: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Figma (preferred)
- Solid understanding of: Typography, Layout, Colour Theory
- Ability to sketch, explore, and refine ideas before final execution

Good to Have

- Experience in After Effects or motion design
- Experience working with premium / lifestyle / fashion / design-led brands
- Prior agency experience handling multiple projects

What This Role Is NOT

- Not a Canva-only design role
- Not a pure execution job with zero thinking
