About UsLakyou Beauty is a cruelty-free D2C cosmetics brand selling across Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, and Myntra. We run high-volume, quick-turnaround content across three Instagram handles — @lakyou.beauty, @filter_facee_ (Filter Face), and @beyondlakyou — plus creator/UGC content and marketplace listing videos. We're looking for a Video Editor who can keep up with that pace without cutting corners.

The RoleYou'll turn raw footage — ours and creators' — into finished, publish-ready video across Reels, ads, and marketplace listings. You'll work closely with the videographer, social team, and copy team to make sure every edit matches the brand's voice and hits the calendar on time.

What You'll Do

- Edit raw footage into finished Instagram Reels for all three brand handles, in line with the monthly content calendar (7 posts/week per handle)
- Cut creator-submitted and UGC raw footage into publish-ready reels, adding pacing, captions, and CTAs per script direction
- Edit product/marketplace listing videos (demos, before-after, application, benefits) for Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, and Myntra




- Cut Meta ad creatives across multiple aspect ratios and hooks, with quick turnaround for testing new variations
- Add captions, subtitles, trending audio, transitions, and on-brand motion graphics/text overlays
- Keep project files and footage organized and archived for reuse
- Work closely with the videographer and content/social team to align edits with captions, scripts, and campaign themes
- Turn around high-volume edits fast during launches, teaser campaigns, and sale periods

What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience editing short-form video for social media or a D2C/e-commerce brand
- Strong hands-on skills in Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar (After Effects a plus)
- A reel/portfolio of Instagram-native edits — Reels, ads, or UGC-style content
- Comfortable working fast across multiple concurrent edits without losing quality
- Good eye for pacing, hooks, and trending edit styles in the beauty/D2C space
- Bonus: basic shooting skills, familiarity with beauty/cosmetics content
