Hirely is recruiting Video Evaluation Generalists on behalf of one of our hiring partners for a short-term, fully remote chance supporting advanced AI video research.

In this role, you will evaluate short video clips, compare paired outputs against structured evaluation criteria, and provide consistent ratings and written feedback. Your assessments will help improve the quality and reliability of AI-generated video systems.

What You'll Do

- Watch two short video outputs side by side and evaluate them using a provided rubric.
- Compare videos across factors such as prompt adherence, motion quality, visual artifacts, and physical plausibility.
- Assign scores to individual video outputs based on defined evaluation criteria.
- Select an overall preference between paired video outputs.
- Provide concise written justifications when required.
- Apply evaluation guidelines consistently across a high volume of tasks.
- Identify visual inconsistencies, artifacts, unrealistic motion, and other quality issues.
- Maintain reliable judgment and scoring throughout the project.
- Meet project deadlines while working independently.

Who We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree (completed or currently in progress).
- Strong writing and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze visual content carefully and objectively.
- Ability to understand and consistently apply structured evaluation guidelines.
- Strong written communication skills.




- Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines.
- Reliable access to a computer and internet connection.

Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in teaching, research, writing, content evaluation, or a related field.
- Experience with AI training, data annotation, content moderation, or evaluation projects.
- Experience evaluating visual or multimedia content.
- Familiarity with AI-generated content or generative AI systems.
- Academic or professional experience involving detailed analysis and structured assessment.

Compensation & Work Arrangement

- $15-$20 per hour
- Fully remote
- Independent contractor opportunity
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Expected project duration: approximately 1.5 weeks
- Flexible scheduling within project requirements
