Role Description The Video Editor role at Widespread is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw footage into polished videos for digital campaigns, social media, and promotional content for schools and other education-focused clients. Daily tasks include organizing and managing video assets, applying color grading, integrating graphics and motion elements, and ensuring that all content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. The role collaborates closely with the creative, marketing, and account teams to refine concepts, incorporate feedback,



and deliver high-quality video content on schedule.

The Video

Editor is expected to stay current with industry trends, tools, and formats to optimize content for various digital platforms.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for digital marketing and social media content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and maintain brand consistency.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support storytelling and engagement.
- Experience with industry-standard editing and animation software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Keen eye for detail, pacing, and visual storytelling, with the ability to interpret creative briefs and feedback constructively.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in office in Pune City and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in digital marketing or agency environments, especially in the education sector, is an advantage.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
