We are looking for a Video Editor. ?

Not someone who can just “edit videos.”

Someone who understands content.

Someone who can take a raw video and make people want to keep watching.

At Fruit Punch DJ Academy , we're building a lot more content, both long-form and short-form , and we're looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey.

What you'll work on

→ YouTube / long-form videos

→ Instagram Reels

→ Short-form educational content

→ Talking-head videos

→ B-roll, captions, graphics, sound design

→ Turning one long video into multiple pieces of content

But here's the important part:

We don't want an editor who needs to be told what to do at every step.

You should be able to watch a video and think:

“This is a boring 20 seconds. Let's cut it.”

“This should be shown, not said.”

“The first 5 seconds aren't strong enough.”

“This can become a Reel.”

“This section needs more pace.”

That's the kind of thinking we're looking for.

The working style

This is a part-time role.

Y ou can work around your schedule.

No fixed 9 to 6.

No unnecessary meetings.

No manager constantly checking on you.

No one will sit behind you and tell you where to put every cut.

We'll give you the content, context and outcome we want.

You take ownership of the edit.

Freedom comes with responsibility.

If you deliver great work on time, we don't care whether you worked at 10 AM, 10 PM or on a Sunday.

What matters to us





You don't need a fancy degree.

You don't need 5 years of experience.

You don't even need to have worked with a big brand.

We care about

Your taste.

Your editing ability.

Your understanding of content.

Your attention to detail.

Your reliability.

And most importantly:

Can you make a video better than the raw footage we gave you?

If yes, we want to meet you.

Who should apply?

Maybe you're already freelancing.

Maybe you're a student.

Maybe you're working another job.

Maybe you've been editing for years.

Maybe you've been doing it for only a year but you're genuinely valuable.

That's all okay.

If you have the skill, we'll find a way to work together.

Compensation

Part-time / flexible engagement.

We're open to discussing compensation based on your skill, portfolio and output.

We would rather pay the right person well than hire someone cheap who needs constant supervision.
