Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor (AI & Tech).

The Video

Editor will assemble and edit video content focused on AI and technology topics, including tutorials, product explainers, social media clips, and promotional materials. Daily responsibilities include organizing raw footage, editing sequences, applying color grading, adding motion graphics and titles, and incorporating audio elements to create polished deliverables. The role also involves collaborating with content creators and technical teams, following brand guidelines, adapting content for multiple platforms, and managing versioning and file organization.

The Video

Editor is expected to stay current with video trends and tools,



especially those related to AI-assisted editing and production workflows.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including handling different formats, timelines, and platform specifications.

- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to maintain consistent visual style and enhance the overall look and feel of footage.

- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, overlays, animations, and visual assets.

- Proficiency with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.

- Understanding of AI and technology topics, or ability to quickly learn and interpret technical concepts for visual storytelling, is preferred.

- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines in a remote, collaborative setting.

- Effective communication skills and experience working with creative briefs, feedback cycles, and brand guidelines.

- Relevant education or equivalent professional experience in film, media, design, or a related field is advantageous.
